Brooker Community Icon

At Brooker Insurance, we believe it is important to cultivate a community mindset and embrace servant leadership. What does this mean and why does it matter? It means that we appreciate being a part of our community, and how it has been our home for generations. We give back to our community in our time, talents, and finances as a way to say thank you for standing by us for over 83 years. At the end of the day, our goal is to serve our clients, our communities, and each other with empathy and humility.

Adopt Families at Christmas

Christmas is the most wonderful time of year, but we also know it can be an incredibly difficult time for some members of our community. We love to come together as our Brooker Family every single year to support some local families and give them a cheerful Christmas morning. We pull together necessities, food, new clothing, toys, and much more.

First Responders on 9/11

On September 11th, 2001, the world stood still as thousands lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attack on American soil. Our nation lost 412 emergency first responders who gave their lives to save their fellow Americans. Every year, our sales director, Heather Sohar, takes baked goods to our local first responders as a thank you for their service to our community.

Kiwanis Flag Program

Brooker is a proud supporter of the Strongsville Chapter of the Kiwanis Club. Each Memorial Day weekend, we help support their efforts to place flags around the Strongsville City Circle in honor of our brave men and women in uniform.

30 Hearts

In Ethiopia, poverty and disease is causing many children to be left without parents. Brooker is a proud supporter of this ministry which makes it possible for children to be raised in loving families in their own community. They also provide resources for at-risk families in the community to prevent children from becoming orphaned or abandoned.

Cornerstone Academy

A few of our employees have truly enjoyed getting to spend time with the third graders over at Cornerstone School. In 2019 before the Covid-19 pandemic, we had partnered with the Cornerstone School to have our team come read to the different classes.

Toys for Tots

Over the years, Brooker has been a proud drop-off location for the Toys for Tots campaign. Our Strongsville community has been amazing supporters of this cause and we have been moved by their generosity when people stop by to donate toys. *** UPDATE: We are NOT a drop-off location for 2021 ***

Ehrbar Angels Foundation

The Ehrbar Angels Foundation was created in memory of two local Highland High School students, Erin and Andrew Ehrbar, after they tragically lost their lives in 2010. The goal of the Ehrbar Angels Foundation is to give teenagers additional training and education on safe driving. The money raised from their annual golf outing goes toward these classes for young, novice drivers. We are a very proud supporter of this cause, as it is very near and dear to the hearts of our Brooker family.

The City Mission

Many of our employees have partnered with City Mission through their local churches. The City Mission is located in downtown Cleveland and helps people overcome their path to homelessness. This outreach is one that we have seen first-hand the amazing impact that it has on a community.
